The Fair
Movelpar - State of Paraná’s Furniture Fair - completes 14 years in 2011 by adding its eighth biannual edition held in Arapongas, a major furniture center in the country. Organized by Expoara – Events Center - built to be a showcase of industrial products by over 500 companies that compose the North Paraná Furniture Pole - Movelpar is recognized in Brazil and abroad for being the scene of major releases that followed the evolution of Brazilian furniture and the increment of domestic exportation.
In the last edition, held in 2009, the Events Center Expoara welcomed 38,958 people on the five-day fair - an average of 7,791 tickets per day. The sector registered 21,569 visitors - retailers and sales representatives – who visited Movelpar more than once. The trade estimate apointed by the exhibitors in the post-event survey was R$ 450 million.
